Welcome to our Curriculum Page Find out a little bit about our curriculum
All curriculum volumes present an aspect of a believer’s relationship with Christ and the born-again experience. As part of each engaging lesson, children learn what it means to have eternal life and how they can develop a new Christ-like nature.
Teachers are given the tools they need in order to share important concepts about righteousness by faith and forgiveness of sins.
These thirteen lessons in each volume are a must for establishing children in the Christian faith. Our current 13 week study (Volume 2) focuses on the "Walking By Faith". Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith is one of the most important subjects in the Bible, and this volume reveals how faith comes to the believer and how it can be strengthened. In simple and easy-to-understand terms, children are presented with principles that will help them build faith and avoid harmful habits of unbelief. The powerful illustrated sermons and Zion 7 News Reports in this volume make it easy for any class to believe the promises of God without fear. Powerful Messages We believe that children need to hear the preaching of God’s Word just as adults do. We utilize an illustrated sermon as the highlight of our weekly lesson, and we’ve designed each message for your child to understand. Teachers who presents the message understand and are able to convey the central truth of each lesson. Sunday sermons are available on our Sermon MP3's Page. Here are a few examples of how we reach the children. Deputy Dugan Puppet Skit Deputy Dugan is ready to be your class mascot. He may be a crusty old rascal, but beneath the rough exterior, he's got a heart of gold. His humor can be a great asset in helping you break the ice with your class as you begin each lesson. Worship We offer Video Song Services and make-shift instruments so the children can sing and follow along. Rovercomer the Faith Dog Rovercomer becomes your childs best friend as he barks out a story to be interpreted to the class. This costume character will come to life as the Master Teacher and helpers act out the principles of God’s Word and communicate the lesson's central theme. Zion 7 Report Imagine if there had been a television news crew on the scene of every Bible story. Imagine how informative it would be if the reporters were committed Christians, offering commentary and scriptural insight into each story. That is what your child gets with every episode of The Zion 7 Report. The Master Mechanic These brief video stories are designed for presentation at the beginning of a class to introduce the theme for the day’s lesson. Special Holiday Packs This special Holiday Volume teaches boys and girls the true meaning of two important holiday celebrations–Christmas and Easter. From the angel’s visit to Mary and the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Christ to the story of His death and triumphant resurrection, the lessons in this volume gives your child a deeper understanding of the most valuable gift ever given to man. Exciting Review Game Kids pay closer attention to the lesson if they know they’re going to be tested at the end of the class. Review games provide us with a valuable tool to reinforce learning. We provide a number of creative ideas for games that help close out each class with a bang Interested in being involved on our Ministry Team? Click HERE for more information. |
